Simple suggestion:
Do not let links on tribe pages redirect. In other words...when there's a link on a page, make it open a new page. Its just annoying.
Be well...

Re: Well, if you delete this tribe, read this first.
Sat, April 12, 2008 - 12:49 AMThis has been discussed extensively in the past, and Tribe was originally like that. Many people hated it.
The way it is now lets both sides have their way: you can shift-click if you want a new (window/tab), and click if you don't. If you make new (window/tab) the default, there's no way to get a link in the same window. -

Sat, April 12, 2008 - 10:08 AMapple users can use a two button mouse. Apple has for some time had the ability to use a two button mouse. Apple refuses to create a two button mouse themselves. leaving you to go buy an aftermarket mouse instead. -

Sat, April 12, 2008 - 8:43 PMAny standard USB mouse with two buttons should do it on a Mac...I use it if I can--on my portable, I've got my browser set to use cmd-click to create another tab in the same window for clicked links.

Mon, April 14, 2008 - 12:10 PMYour options for right-clicking are many on the Mac...
1) Macs that come with external mice all come with the multi-button "Mighty Mouse" now and have for getting on 2 years now
2) 3rd party multi-button mice have always worked dandy out of the box on OS X
3) Control+Click=right-click (and Command-Click in Safari="Open Link in New Tab")
4) On Mac lappies for the last 2-3 years, 2-finger-tap on trackpad is the best and most elegant way to right-click, IMHO
The most you have to do with any even vaguely recent Mac is enable the secondary click for the Mighty Mouse or the 2-finger-tap on the trackpad in System Preferences.

All agreed - I love the choice of opening a link either way and would not like this changed..
