I'd like to suggest that Brainstorm (and Bugs) become moderated tribes and all members be removed.
In order to gain admission to Brainstorm, former members must link to some of their previous contributions.
New members would provide a brief description of their idea before being allowed to join.
While the idea of having an open door is a good one, it is constantly abused. And creates a tribe that no one wants to post any ideas just in case someone goes off on them.
It's also a good idea to create our own tribes if we don't like the way a particular tribe is run. But that doesn't work for official tribes. And the official tribes should be more on track.
No one is banned, if someone gets removed for being a problem (including me), they can be readmitted just like any other member who has an idea and provides a description of the idea in their request to join.
Tribe.net/NSA has the ability to check accounts, to see who has what alts or whatever. There's absolutely no need for anyone to have more than ONE of their many names in this tribe at any time.
That alone would make for a more satisfying experience. Less suspicion and more interaction between the people who are members.
And delete the obvious trolling posts. They have no business being here.

Re: Brainstorm membership do-over
Sat, May 30, 2009 - 8:02 PMThe Man asks for Djarum to leave the Brainstorm tribe now. Suspect Djarum is known to associate with Internet stalkers and sexual predators.
The Man does not want a relationship with Djarum. The Man hates Djarum. The Man hates Djarum's snails. -

Sat, May 30, 2009 - 8:29 PMJust take a look at the mess she made of the TOU Watchdog tribe. That's more than enough resume material for her on moderation of a tribe.

Re: Brainstorm membership do-over
Sat, May 30, 2009 - 8:38 PMThe man does not like it when Djarum Posts lewd, sexual propositions on tribe as the suspect Djarum posted this in another tribe:
" I was thinking more in the girlfriend performing the oral sex while watching cool colors or morphing words or sparkly diamonds!
Spontaneous as in: "Blow me here, now"
"
The law is clear that this is sexual stalking, Djarum. You associate with on-line sexual predators, Djarum. The law does not allow for you to molest individuals in this tribe, Djarum. We will confiscate your snails, Djarum. The vampires will give you crabs, Djarum.
The Man does not want a relationship with you, Djarum. -

Re: Brainstorm membership do-over
Sun, May 31, 2009 - 1:31 AMI'm not a citizen under your jurisdiction. That only applies to residents of the District of Columbia.
Soon the land I stand on will return to being called Atzlan. Me and my homies are already well
ahead of you in breeding more vatos. Now send a message up the line there and tell your gringos
we know you shorted us on the last shipment. Or we smuggle more nukes over your southern border
and take out the ranchero, white boy. -

business must be slow. I guess Andy's offer of a free clear coat and 50,000 mile warranty didn't go over too well.
