Out of all the communities I have joined, I keep coming back to tribe. Sure there are things the others have over tribe, but overall it is still the best. I do wish that tribe was more like myspace in its options for profile backgrounds and its music capabilities. You'll probably tell me now that I can get these with the premo, but I really cannot afford that yet, beside I feel that I pay enough for the internet. By the way, what does the premo actually offer. Maybe when I get me tax rebate.

My exprience with My Space is that each profile is like a community. A community of one main person and their friends. And so on.
On Tribe each "tribe" is a community of many individuals with a list of their friends. More like an real life community. We can talk to each other openly (in thread form) or privately (PM) if that makes any sense. -

Tue, March 25, 2008 - 9:33 AMmyspace does have "groups" (same as "tribes") - they are just underutilized by the community at the moment. i am in about 6 groups and i rarely check them because the site does not update you when people post in the threads. i usually forget they are there.

The best thing about tribe is that it is very, very tolerant. Hey didn't we get this far, the world as a whole I mean, because of tolerance? There's an important leason there me thinks.
