Gang I gotta tellya compared to Facebook, Tribe totally rocks. I've been trying to make do over there, but its extensive use of flash is crashing my browser all the time. Also their apps don't work half the time and when they do, they're very slow. If Tribe could just solve the problem of crashes lasting days, instead of minutes or hours as they do on Facebook and other social networks I think you'd really have a viable 'product'. I suggest you do something to pimp your stats re: not crashing browsers, etc.

Wed, March 18, 2009 - 7:32 PMIf they were food/restaurants, then tribe would be some incredible Asian Fusion restaurant that plays great jazz and hosts very interesting diners, only the building's plumbing goes out and the lights flicker all the time.
Facebook, is great and easy to keep touch with your local friends, but it's more like McDonalds with Muzac. Oh, let's make it Wendy's, which is a little better. (Want to super-size that with a bunch of time wasting site applications?) -

Re: Comparison shopping
Sat, March 21, 2009 - 11:34 AMMore like a mom and pop place where the cook only shows up every now and then.
I still love it though, in all it's quirkiness!
:D
